Colonoscopy: The purpose of the colonoscopy is to screen and detect colon cancer. The colonoscopy is also a diagnostic tool to look for pathology involving the large bowel

Upper Endoscopy (EGD): The purpose of the upper endoscopy is to screen and detect disorders of the esophagus, stomach and small intestines.

ERCP: The purpose of the ERCP is to detect and treat disorders involving the liver, pancreas and biliary system including gallstones and cancers.

Esophageal Manometry:  The purpose of the esophageal manometry study is to diagnose movement disorders involving the esophagus to help guide appropriate therapy.


Bravo pH: The purpose of the Bravo pH study is to diagnose acidic reflux disorders involving the esophagus.


Pill Camera Endoscopy: The purpose of the pill camera endoscopy is to diagnose disorders involving primarily the small intestines.  This area is typically not within the reach of the flexible upper endoscope or colonoscope.  A camera is swallowed which takes live video as it travels through the small intestines.
